Works that take me out of my normal practice bring fresh ideas with new skills and new materials.
It can be a group installation like ‘Staring Out The Night’ for Pillow Talk or ‘In Memory of Vanete Almeida’ for I’m Inside, Ring The Bell a reinterpretation of Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party; collaborative work as in Hidden Narratives, where several artists worked on the same image; sometimes it’s a commission, as with the illustrations, or an itch that just has to be scratched, like ‘Fractured’.
